John Kinsella

John Kinsella was born in Western Australia in 1963. In 1996 he received a Young Australian Creative Fellowship, and was awarded a two-year Fellowship from the Literature Fund of the Australia Council. He was made an artist By-Fellow of Churchill College, Cambridge, UK, in 1997 and a Fellow in 1998. He is the founding editor of the literary magazine SALT and international editor of The Kenyon Review, and is Professor of English at Kenyon College in the USA. He has published over twenty collections of poetry, most recently The Hierarchy of Sheep (2001) and Rivers (2002). He is the editor of Michael Dransfield – A Retrospective, published by UQP in 2002.
