Bourke, E.

Eleanor Bourke has a Master of Educational Studies and a PhD from the University of Adelaide. She was formerly Director of the Aboriginal Research Institute (ARI) Faculty of Aboriginal and Islander Studies at the University of South Australia, where she oversaw their publications program. In 1999, she was appointed Chair of Australian Indigenous Studies (CAIS), Monash University, with dual responsibility as Director of Monash Aboriginal programs. She is currently Adjunct Professor at the CAIS. Aboriginal Australia was co-edited with Colin Bourke and Bill Edwards and was published by UQP in 1998.
