Spanning twenty years, this collection reveals Gary Catalano's distinctive development in language and style as well as his characteristic qualities of elegance and economy. He works in sounds, syllables and their silences to create physical, tactile poems. There are generous selections from his previous books" "Remembering the Rural Life", "Heaven of Rags", "Slow Tennis", "Fresh Linen" and the award-winning "The Empire of Grass".
