Brown, Colin

Colin Brown, Senior Lecturer in Agricultural Economics at the University of Queensland, has a long association with livestock marketing and policy. Since 1990, his main research interests have centred on China’s rural development, and especially the Chinese wool and beef industries, where he has been involved with a series of research projects. He has co-authored, with Professor Longworth, a book on the agribusiness aspects of the Chinese wool industry and written numerous other research papers and reports on the livestock industries in China and other countries. He is the co-author, with John Longworth and Scott Waldron, of Beef in China (UQP 2001).
