Day, Marele

Marele Day is the author of the bestselling literary novel, Lamb of God (1997), which was published to acclaim in Australia and overseas, and the Claudia Valentine mysteries, including The Last Tango of Dolores Delgado (1992), winner of the American Shamus Award. She is the editor of How to Write Crime (1996), which won the Ned Kelly Award. Her most recent book is a novelised biography, Mrs Cook – The Real and Imagined Life of the Captain’s Wife (2002). Marele lives of the north coast of New South Wales and is a frequent guest at the Byron Bay Writers’ Festival.
