Weller, Archie

Archie Weller’s first novel, The Day of the Dog, was runner-up in the first Vogel Prize in 1980 and was made into the AFI award-winning film Blackfellas in 1991. His second book, Going Home, has appeared on school curriculum and his third book, Land of the Golden Clouds, won the Human Rights Award in 1998.
