Carol Johnson is a respected Associate Professor of Politics at the University of Adelaide and a former president of the Australasian Political Studies Association. She has published widely in the field of Australian political trends, and her recent work seeks to combine the perspectives of political science, Australian studies and cultural studies. Carol is on the Editorial Advisory Boards of The Australian Journal of Political Science and Australian Feminist Studies, and is an Associate Editor of The International Feminist Journal of Politics. She is the co-editor of two books and author of The Labor Legacy: Curtin, Chifley, Whitlam, Hawke (Allen and Unwin 1989). Governing Change: Keating to Howard was published by UQP in 2000, in association with the Australian Studies Centre at the University of Queensland and the Journal of Australian Studies.
