Margaret Bettison is a retired librarian. She has contributed to various publications including ARGAP. A Research Guide to Australian Politics and Cognate Subjects (with Henry Mayer) and Her Story: Australian Women in Print 1788-1975 (with Anne Summers). She is also a contributor to the Australian Dictionary of Biography and The History of the Book in Australia (Arnold and Lyons eds., UQP 2001). Most recently she co-edited (with Jill Roe) A Gregarious Culture: Topical Writings of Miles Franklin (UQP 2001).
